Ultrasil - Animal Health Grass Silage Preservative
Easy to handle, non-corrosive, non-fuming chemical grass preservative. It contains ingredients that reduce unwanted clostridial (butyric) fermentation and clamp losses. It is also active against both Listeria and E-coli which is ideal for treating silage which may be susceptible to these harmful organisms such as big bales made specifically for sheep feeding. Ultrasil produces the "cleanest" quality silage and is well proven in the UK and Europe, and is an essential additive where best health is of optimum importance for cattle and sheep.
Biophage X Powerful Grass Silage Preservative
The most versatile grass silage preservative which has the ability to be the most powerful yet cost effective additive on the market today. Applied immediately to grass Biophage X will supply the industry standard of 1 million lactic acid producing bacteria per kilo but “pre-activated” it will increase that to 2 million. This versatility ensures silage makers can strengthen their additive should the conditions turn against them. Also contains enzymes, clostridiaphages and nutrients which all aid a fast efficient fermentation.
Biophage X-Treme Grass Silage Preservative For Low Sugar Condition
The "strong" additive for applying to grass in even the most challenging conditions. Contains a strain of bacteria which can reach and utilise fructan sugars which are unavailable to conventional inoculants therefore, improves silage quality in all situations. The strain which has been chosen to do this works in unison with a team of bacteria which will drive the pH down, but only to a safe level. Biophage 'Green'
In many situations, Organic farmers have to make do with "second best" due to strict guidelines. This is not the case with Biophage Green as great care has been taken to tailor make a product which is not only powerful, but is ideal in an organic farming practice. With many of the benefits of the Biophage family of preservatives, the breakthrough is with the inclusion of Lactobacillus paracasei. Many grass/clover leys can be low in simple sugars. A stock specific grass silage preservative. Biophage Beef has been designed to be used on all grass silage to be fed to beef cattle, particularly later cut grass.
