Spectrum Dairy All Seasons
The major product in the Spectrum programme, which supplies all the cow's minerals, trace elements and vitamins. This is fed for a period of one month then withdrawn and replaced for one month by a suitable 'need specific' mineral from the Spectrum range (see below & opposite). It is then re-introduced again one month later and the 'pulsed' programme cycle is in motion. Feeding rates will vary according to diet and yield.
Spectrum Dairy Fertile
When a fertility boost is required over busy insemination periods, or if dairy cows are returning to service, Dairy Fertile should be fed for a one month period. It contains fully chelated minerals, protected vitamins and should be incorporated into the spectrum mineral programme at key periods. Spectrum Dairy Fertile will also provide a full mineral and vitamin specification for the dairy cow to encourage optimum health and production. Feeding rates will vary according to diet and yield.
Spectrum Dairy Ics
Many farms will experience stubborn trace element deficiencies caused by geographical or feed types. The solution is not always to keep increasing the supplemented levels of these elements, but to increase their bioavailability to the animal to help combat the deficiencies. Dairy ICS contains special sources of iodine, copper, and selenium which are crucial elements for the health and productivity of dairy cattle where these conditions exist. Incorporate Dairy ICS into the spectrum mineral programme at monthly intervals for maximum effect. Feeding rates will vary accordingly to diet and yield.
Countdown Mineral
SCC can result in lost payments for milk, and a raised SCC can reduce milk yields. Countdown is formulated to help the animal's immune response nutritionally. This will help maintain healthy udder tissues and cellular system, helping to reduce the SCC and improve the hoof structure and surrounding skin structure. Incorporate Dairy ICS into the spectrum mineral programme at monthly intervals for maximum effect. Feeding rates will vary according to diet and yield.
Spectrum Dry Cow Secure
The dry cow period not only prepares the cow for calving process, but also for the early stages of lactation when many demands will be placed on her. Dry Cow Secure is formulated to provide the elements that will help the cow through this stage. It is a zero calcium mineral, formulated to encourage the cow to utilise her own calcium reserves, maintaining crucial levels of blood calcium. A combination of trace elements help provide a quick, clean calving process, with healthy viable calf.
Taurus Maxi-Rear
For all growing stock. Can be fed free access or incorporated in a ration throughout the year. As well as a full range of minerals, trace elements and vitamins, this product contains high antiseptic properties ideal when intensive conditions give rise to associated animal health problems, such as Dry Patchy Skin.
Taurus Suckler Cow & Stores
A good source of mineral supplementation for silage fed beef animals over 3 months of age. Formulation includes generous levels of seaweed meal and Omega 3 oil as well as special copper combining to aid growth, coat condition and stubborn copper problems.

As the name suggests, this complete mineral is targeted at addressing foot problems in all types of sheep. Contains the unique ingredient smart zinc and biotin which will help harden and protect new hoof growth.
