What do you suggest to...

..ensure each animal in my flock gets its fair share of key nutrients?

Probably the surest way is to drench the animal with a large compilation of critical nutrients which are able to be stored in the body system and used as required. Ex-Sel drench has the ability to do exactly that. The 'instant' effect on young lambs is only one of its applications. Pre-tupping and pre-lambing are the other two thirds of our recommended drenching programme..

...give bought in calves a good start?

When young calves are moved it can be a highly stressful time and this can take a toll on performance. For the perfect "pick-me-up" we advise that each calf gets a quick drench on arrival at farm. It is also highly recommended for suckler calves looking a little dry in the coat or to provide key nutrients for a cow on the build up to calving.
ORDER: EX-SEL COW & CALF ADVANCE

...support high milk yield without compromising cow fertility?

Even when rations are thought to be properly balanced, at busy insemination periods the addition of the three fertility 'drivers'[iodine, copper and selenium] can make the world of difference for high-yielding cows. Simply hang one pod of Milk & Hold tablets per 25 cows into the water trough, and change every seven days.

...help control cell counts in the milking herd?

Excessive cell count problems caused by nutritional imbalances are often helped by placing pods of special Aquatrace Sel-Count tablets in the troughs. Use until the condition subsides. If found to be a nutritional cause, the results should be noticeable within 3-4 weeks.
» ORDER: SEL-COUNT TABLETS

...ensure an easier calving?

Calving is made easier when bio-available trace elements, iodine in particular, along with selenium and copper are made available. Our water soluble tablet range is suitable for first-time heifers, dairy or beef, plus production cows. It is a stress-free method of administering the elements in the drinking water, for an assured intake.

...feed stock when a single trace element is needed?

Often forage analysis will show up individual element imbalances. Selenium in particular is regularly found to be one as is manganese and cobalt. Redress the balance by using these pods of tablets in the water troughs. Stress-free and low cost.

...give cattle trace elements that will last some time?

Whenever cattle are being turned out or brought in there are opportunities to slip the famous bolus down their throats. Often there are certain fields where animals do not thrive as well, or maybe they are still showing their winter coats. If possible use in advance of a problem to support levels.

...worm stock with no handling?

For routine worming of cattle or sheep without handling use this well established product in the field. Recommended at 3, 7 and 11 weeks for cattle, let the product clear the worm population with no stress. An MFS script is required.

...get magnesium into cows without any feeding?

As long as cattle are drinking from a trough, the most accurate 24 hour coverage for staggers is obtained by putting this palatable liquid directly into water. It can be metered or hand applied on a daily basis. USE ALWAYS AT FULL STRENGTH DURING CRUCIAL PERIODS. Can also be used for cows approaching calving, at any time of year. Please ensure that cattle do not have access to any other water source first.
» ORDER: AQUAMAG

...stop housed stock coughing and keep them breathing clearly?

Feed this most successful product to housed cattle of any age. Use when breathing difficulties occur or when predicted. The resulting visual discharge is testimony to its efficacy and we recommend it particularly for young cattle. If selecting the tub version, it is fully mineralised as a further benefit.
» ORDER: BREATHE-EZEE GRANULES or TUB

...aid the prevention of twin lamb disease (Acetonaemia)?

A must for all lambing periods. At the first sign of the problem give the advised drench. Vitamin E and Acetona are added for a quicker response. If the ewe is carrying twins or triplets and under nutritional stress, drench before anything happens as a preventative measure.
» ORDER: EWE-2 DRENCH

...give newborn calves a good start in life?

There are many causes of scours and dehydration in calves that cannot be cleared with antibiotics. Treat the calf as soon after birth as possible (but must be within 8 hours of birth) to get a calfs’ life off to the best possible start. These capsules contain high levels of antibodies against Rotavirus, Coronavirus, E-Coli & Salmonella. There is also a cryptosporidium version available as well.  Prevention is much cheaper than cure.
